Booking Terms and Conditions
By using this website and/or the booking service provided to you by Safety Alert Ltd and HURAK (or any other trading names they so wish to use) , you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions detailed below, which will form the basis of your contract with us.
Our company registration number is 11401428, and we are registered in England and Wales under the trading address of 27 Skerries Road, Liverpool, L4 0TT.
Throughout these terms and conditions, “You” and “Your” refer to all people named on a booking of any of our courses, and “We”, “Us” and “Our” will respectively refer to Safety Alert Ltd. We retain the right to update and maintain these terms and conditions, so we encourage you to retain a copy for your records at the time of booking.
By placing a booking with Safety Alert Ltd, whether via the website, our booking portal, or over the telephone, you are confirming that you have been authorised to do so by the attendee and to use their personal information. You acknowledge that all members of the party are bound by these terms and conditions.
Once the booking has been made, an email verification will be sent to the email address provided. Once verified, a copy of the joining instructions, initial assessment, and all other necessary course information will follow. We strongly urge you to retain a copy of this information for your records.
Once you receive your course information, you should check that all details provided are correct. You must contact us immediately if any corrections are needed. If the information is incorrect and not brought to our attention, we reserve the right to apply an additional administrative fee if deemed necessary.
Upon receiving the booking, Safety Alert Ltd agrees to provide you with the training course indicated in the joining instructions at the time of booking. You will be provided with all necessary course materials and tuition essential to complete the course and gain the required qualification, provided the delegate attends and participates in all aspects of the course. Certification will then be issued accordingly.
If a booking is made through a third party, we cannot assume responsibility or liability for the content provided. However, we will endeavour to resolve any quality issues directly with the client.
We consistently moderate all courses delivered by ourselves to ensure that the training meets our high standards and that clients receive the right support and guidance throughout.
Any booking made via our website must be paid using a credit or debit card. The full payment will be deducted from your card at the point of booking. We require you to enter the CVV number as a fraud protection measure.
Bookings may be made over the phone by calling our main office number. Payment will be taken in full, and once processed, the booking will be confirmed, and all course information will be sent.
Once a relationship has been established, we may, at our discretion, offer the possibility of opening an account. Please note that no bookings are confirmed until a purchase order (PO) has been received by Safety Alert Ltd.
If you have been offered an account, the invoice will be raised on the last day of the training, and payment will be due 30 days from the invoice date. Failure to meet these terms may result in further action being taken.
Safety Alert Ltd reserves the right to request a credit check and payment history before offering credit terms to a client.
For all NVQs, we offer the option to pay 50% upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion of the NVQ.
Once enrolled in an NVQ course, the upfront 50% is non-refundable. Please consider this carefully before booking.
Safety Alert Ltd reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold courses at any time.
Please read the terms and conditions in full before placing a booking, as fees for transfers or cancellations may apply. Bookings may only be transferred or cancelled if a written request is sent to Safety Alert Ltd.
More than 30 days before course start date – Full refund
12 to 30 days before course start date – 75% refund
7 to 12 days before course start date – 50% refund
Less than 7 days before course start date – No refund, but an alternative course date may be offered at our discretion.
Failure to attend – 100% of the course cost is charged.
More than 30 days before course start date – Free transfer
14 to 30 days before course start date – 25% transfer fee
7 to 13 days before course start date – 50% transfer fee
Less than 7 days before course start date – 75% transfer fee
Transfers do not apply to NVQ bookings.
If you are dissatisfied with any service or training from Safety Alert Ltd, contact us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within five working days. If unresolved, you may follow the appeals process.
For appeals regarding exam results, requests must be made within five working days of the exam date. Appeals will be internally moderated, and we will aim to respond within five working days.
We do not tolerate disruptive, violent, or inappropriate behaviour towards training staff, learners, or suppliers. Breaching this may result in removal from the course without reimbursement, and we reserve the right to refuse future bookings.
We aim to provide accurate information but reserve the right to update or correct details if required. We advise checking specifics with a staff member before booking.
If an account is set up via our website or ManageMyCourses, your content is confidential and not accessible by third parties. We reserve the right to withdraw access if necessary.
We do not control day-to-day tutor operations and accept no responsibility for acts outside their duties to us. We accept no liability for injury or death occurring during training.
We will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from any breach of duty.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English Law, and all parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
