These terms govern the booking, payment, cancellation, and other operational aspects of training services provided by Squared Health & Safety:

  1. Payment Terms

    • Open Courses: Payment must be received in full before the course begins.

    • Consultancy, Contracts, and In-House Training: Payment must be made within 28 days of the invoice date. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of services.

  2. Fees, Cancellations & Refunds

    • Payment Confirmation: Squared Health & Safety reserves the right to refuse participation in any course until payment has been received.

    • Course Changes: We reserve the right to cancel or change course dates, services, venues, or service providers. In case a face-to-face classroom is not feasible, we may switch to an online blended format.

    • Course Cancellation by Squared Health & Safety: If Squared Health & Safety cancels a course, bookings will be rescheduled to the next available course at the same location, unless the customer requests otherwise.

    • Customer Cancellations: If the customer cancels or reschedules a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:

      • More than 28 days: 0% of the fee payable

      • 15-28 days: 50% of the fee payable

      • 1-14 days: 75% of the fee payable

      • No-show without notice: 100% of the fee payable

    • Administration Fee: A £30 administration fee may apply for cancellations or postponements.

    • Cancellation Confirmation: Telephone cancellations must be confirmed immediately in writing by post or email.

    • E-Learning Refunds: E-learning and Blended Part 1 courses may be eligible for a refund in certain circumstances, based on the provider's refund policy.

    • Provisional Bookings: Provisional bookings are not permitted. Bookings are confirmed upon submission and are subject to the cancellation policy.

  3. Amendment of Fees

    • Fees are correct at the time of publication, but Squared Health & Safety reserves the right to amend them at any time.

  4. Governing Law

    • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
